Fishing at Night

My brother Trent invited me for a night bass fishing trip on Thursday June 3rd, 2004. As it turns out, he was unable to make the trip but offered me his boat to go it alone. I took him up on the offer hoping he would be able to join me later when he could. I began fishing around 5:30 pm and he joined me later on that night. Over the course of the trip I boated over 20 lbs. of fish including 1-7lb, 1-4.5lb., 2-3lb, and 5 more fish at 2lbs or less. It was a great night of fishing and one that I won't soon forget.

One fish was caught on a Tail Darter topwater bait before nightfall, while the rest were landed after dark using either a Centipede, or Gary Yamamoto worm.

Two nights later, Trent caught 4 fish with the largest at about 3.5 lbs. This picture was his first for the evening. Trent caught this one on a Brush Hog and his other 3 on plastic worms and lizards.
